01
Check the NSW Electrician Licence Before Electrical Work
Match the name and licence number on the proposal to the NSW public register, confirm currency and check the class is relevant. Ask who will perform or supervise the work and do not rely on a generic licensed-and-insured badge.
02
Sydney Electrical Contractor and Qualified Supervisor Roles
The contracting entity and the person authorised to perform or supervise wiring work can involve different licence records. Production content must identify the real arrangement accurately after legal review.
03
CCEW Sydney Submission Through BCNSW eCert
From 1 July 2026, NSW Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work must be submitted through BCNSW eCert or an approved API. The licensed electrician responsible for testing must determine when the certificate applies and complete the required process.
04
Level 2 ASP Electrical Work Must Be Verified Separately
Some network connection, metering, defect and service-line work may require an appropriately accredited provider. This development site makes no Level 2 ASP claim; the actual notice and network boundary must be reviewed.
